I-94 Park'N'Ride—Delafield, Wisconsin
I found many Turkey Vultures on this St. Patrick's Day afternoon, some near a stone quarry, others soaring over the rolling hills, and this one enjoying the thermals near a freeway on-ramp, where I was able to pull over and get a good shot at him

Lake Mills—Jefferson County, Wisconsin
I had just been visiting Faville Prairie State Natural Area, and was headed south towards Lake Mills when I saw this Turkey Vulture; I pulled off the road to shoot it, and then also found a Sandhill Crane nearby (see the Sandhill's page)

These Turkey Vultures were flying with about ten other vultures.  It was quite the sight, but I had a long zoom lens on so I could not get the full group in one shot

Among the Turkey Vultures that I spotted at the Space Center, I saw this Black Vulture (head is a bit different, feet extend to the bottom of the tail and tail has a different fan shape to it)

Waukesha Lime & Stone Quarry—Waukesha, Wisconsin
One evening as we drove past the stone quarries on the north east side of Waukesha, we saw about 7 Turkey Vultures riding the thermals that were rising over the quarries.  I drove home and got my camera, and when we got back most of them had left, but I caught this one

Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center—National Harbor, Maryland
I attended a conference at the nearly opened National Harbor convention center, which is located on the Potomac River, and right at the river's edge was this incredible Turkey Vulture!

Aztalan State Park—Jefferson, Wisconsin
When I was in Elementary school we took a Field Trip to this State Park and its museum.  The DNR says this park contains one of Wisconsin's most important archaeological sites, an ancient Middle-Mississippian village and ceremonial complex.  While visiting the park today, this Turkey Vulture (a.k.a. Turkey Buzzard) flew over
